The event will start at 7:30 am at the Casa Colorá restaurant, located in the village of Leiva.

The draw for the batteries, the fields and the judges will take place telematically on the morning of the event. The registration period will remain open until 19 September at 12:00h, although the organisation reserves the right to close the period before that date. The participation fee is 40 euros for one dog and 50 euros for two, and must be paid into the account specified by the organisers.

The maximum number of participating dogs will be 24 Podenco Andaluz, 12 Maneto and 12 Podenco Orito Español, with a maximum of six dogs per battery. The winners of each battery, together with the two best runners-up, will go through to the final, provided they obtain the classification of ‘ Bueno ’ (Good). If there is no more than one battery per modality, the Champion of the Autonomous Community will be proclaimed according to the classification of the battery.

The terrain on which the event will take place is characterised by low brush, esparto grass, reeds and salt marshes. Participating dogs must be Podenco Andaluz, Maneto or Podenco Orito Español over one year of age, complying with the morphological standards of the breed. Dogs that have competed in another community this year will not be allowed to participate, although their handlers will be allowed to compete with other dogs.
