• Technique

The technique is unrestricted and the works must be executed on a rigid support (canvas, wood or other), with dimensions between 65 x 50 cm and 120 cm on their longest side.

• Registration and running of the competition

Participation is free of charge. The stamping of supports will take place on the day of the event at the Town Hall, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Completed works must be delivered to the Parish Centre (Plaza Ramón y Cajal, 1) between 15:30h and 17:00h., where they will be displayed in order of arrival.

The jury will consist of between four and six members linked to the arts and appointed by the organisation. Their decision will be final.

• Awards

Over €7,000 in prizes

The collaborating organisations and the City Council will award the following prizes:

1st Prize “Domingo Valdivieso”: €2,500 and diploma

2nd Prize: €1,500 and diploma

3rd Prize: €1,000 and diploma

4th Prize: €750 and diploma

Special Watercolour Prize: €600 and a certificate

At least four Runner-up Prizes: €500 each and a certificate

Ten finalist mentions, with a certificate (no cash prize)
