PDF: Rules for participating in the III Mining Photography Competition

The Department of Culture of the Mazarrón Town Council has launched the III Photography Competition dedicated to the Mazarrón Mines, a unique enclave due to its historical, geological and scenic wealth. This competition invites national and international participants over the age of 16 to capture the uniqueness of the municipality’s mining remains from any creative perspective.

Anyone who wishes to participate may do so, whether or not they are residents, provided they are aged 16 or over (minors must complete the attached authorisation form).

Application for Participation: Registration will be carried out through the General Registry of the Mazarrón Town Council, by submitting Annex I, duly completed, in accordance with the provisions of the rules.

The deadline for submitting photographs will be open from the day after their publication in the BORM

  • Published in BORM on 31 January > Deadline from 1 to 12 February 2026 at 14:00h, with prizes of €400, €300 and €200 for the top three places.
