This celebration marks the culmination of a meticulous restoration process carried out on a valuable 19th century piano by the restorer Víctor J. Martínez López.

The piano will be transported back to the Casino on Monday 6th May, in an operation coordinated with a specialised company. Víctor J. Martínez, PhD in Art History and professor at the University of Murcia, has not only led the restoration of the instrument, but will also share his experience and the details of the process during the conference.

The event will also feature a recital by the renowned pianist Luis Cantó Cuadrado, professor at the Conservatorio Profesional de Cieza ‘Maestro Gómez Villa’. The recital programme will include works by Johannes Pachelbel, Domenico Scarlatti, Felix Mendelssohn, Lili Boulanger, Joaquín Turina, Isaac Albéniz and Enrique Granados, promising a great evening of music and culture.
